McLean, VA – Lindsey Davis Stover, former Obama administration official and candidate for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, announced today that Denis McDonough, former Chief of Staff to President Obama and Kari McDonough, co-founder of Vets’ Community Connections have endorsed her campaign.
“Lindsey Davis Stover is going to be a strong force in Congress, for Virginia’s 10th District and for the country,” Denis McDonough commented. “Lindsey demonstrated unfailing leadership and character during her tenure in the Obama administration and is the best choice to lead the party and the country forward.”
“Lindsey understands the critical role that veterans, servicemembers and their families play in our community,” added Kari McDonough. “For this reason, along with her passion for service and proven record of hard work and achievement, I am pleased to lend my support to her.”
Denis and Kari McDonough join numerous former Obama administration officials in supporting Lindsey’s campaign, including Chris Lu, former United States Deputy Secretary of Labor and Roger Baker, former Assistant Secretary and the Chief Information Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“Working with both Denis and Kari has been a privilege,” said Stover. “They have spent their lives addressing challenges facing veterans and our country, and I am honored to have their support. I am inspired by their service and dedicated to bringing the same sense of purpose to our communities in Virginia’s 10th district.”
Stover’s campaign launched 6 months ago and has garnered support from across Virginia’s 10th Congressional District and the nation.
